The great rucksack debate

I have booked my flight to Ecuador and bought my rucksack! Here it is:

After reading all about it, the biggest piece of advice that almost everyone says is ‘take about half the amount of stuff you think you’ll need’. So i’m going light, very light! Most travellers take a rucksack that holds about 70/80 litres. I’ve gone for 35. The above pic might not do it justice. So here’s some more against a bottle of wine as a reference:
